The United States (USA) became the latest team to join them in the Super 8 after their match against Ireland in Florida was called off due to rain and ultimately Pakistan were knocked out of the tournament as they had a poor start which costed them big time.As of now, India (A1), Australia (B2), and Afghanistan (C1) in Group 1, and USA (A2), West Indies (C2) and South Africa (D1) in Group 2 are confirmed for the Super 8. Scotland/England and Bangladesh are the front-runners for the other two spots up for grabs in the last eight.Bangladesh have four points after three matches and a win in their next match against Nepal would take them to the Super 8. Meanwhile, England’s path is a bit difficult as not only do they have to beat Namibia in their last match, they also need Australia beating Scotland and then they would qualify due to a better Net Run Rate (NRR).The first match of the Super 8 will now be played between South Africa and the USA in Antigua and Barbuda on June 19. Meanwhile, West Indies will play the second qualifying team from Group B (Scotland or England) in St Lucia.India and Afghanistan will play each other in their first match of Super 8 in Barbados while Australia will play the second team qualifying from Group D (Bangladesh or the Netherlands) in Antigua.T20 World Cup Super 8 scheduleWed, 19 June 2024 - USA v South Africa, Antigua, 10:30 AM LOCALWed, 19 June 2024 - England/Scotland v West Indies, St. Lucia, 08:30 PM LOCALThur, 20 June 2024 - Afghanistan v India, Barbados, 10:30 AM LOCALThur, 20 June 2024 - Australia v Bangladesh/Netherlands, Antigua, 08:30 PM LOCALFri, 21 June 2024 - England/Scotland v South Africa, St. Lucia, 10:30 AM LOCALFri, 21 June 2024 - USA v West Indies, Barbados, 08:30 PM LOCALSat, 22 June 2024 - India v Bangladesh/Netherlands, Antigua, 10:30 AM LOCALSat, 22 June 2024 - Afghanistan v Australia, St. Vincent, 08:30 PM LOCALSun, 23 June 2024 - USA v England/Scotland, Barbados, 10:30 AM LOCALSun, 23 June 2024 - West Indies v South Africa, Antigua, 08:30 PM LOCALMon, 24 June 2024 - Australia v India, St. Lucia, 10:30 AM LOCALMon, 24 June 2024 - Afghanistan v Bangladesh/Netherlands, St. Vincent, 08:30 PM LOCAL
